Do you think there's going to be a new 3D Mario in the Mario 64 style?

I wonder if those 3d exploration games will start to come en masse since the 3ds to me is a portable gamecube.

Again, I feel like the Home console and the portable devices have switched places. The home consoles now have the casual games and the 3DS is pulling in a more hardcore crowd.
