I don't disagree with the "PR Bullshit" at Nintendo I regularly say so myself. I was just taken aback by the fact that you so agreed with Yoshida that you didn't notice him really failing at using the word generation.
You can't have two gens at once, it doesn't work like that. Check the history of Video Games on wikipedia, there is no 6.5.
