Exactly what I was talking about.
Originally the Fatal Frame sequel was announced in 2005. We didn't hear shit about it untill EGM suddenly broke silence with supposed news on the sequel without anything solid to back it up with. It was written off as a rumor.

Fatal Frame IV has been really really old news, much people knew it was coming, but the platform remained uncertain after 2006:
