Its because they didnt change first week or yearly figures. VGZ need to update first week sales which were closer to 1.5m.

ow do you know they were close to 1.5m? i remember checking for sales data before they announced anything at e3 and didnt find anything but sony saying god of war 3 reached 1 million in just a couple of days. do you have any offical statement or something? but thats just huge!! 1.5 first weak!! hopefully god of war ascension can beat that 

In the current figures we have, God of War III is 150k short for March according to NPD.
