I think it could be the case of Retro studios, where the CEO basically didn't want what they were working on revealed as of yet. Besides, those games were already shown for other consoles, a third time probably wouldn't mean much for Nintendo when they wanted to explain how the system worked and what games they were bringing to it.
Later down the road I suspect we will get the information we need.
