Great news! Now the Wii U has something like half a dozen major sellers at launch! NSMBU, Wii U Fit, Nintendo Land, Assassin's Creed 3, Just Dance 4, and this could each sell 5 million or more.

What?!

Mario, WiiU Fit and Nintendo Land will probably sell not only that but twice that amount or more, but the third party titles don't have a chance.

You do know that Just Dance 2 and 3 (on Wii) have both broken 9 million, right? And that Just Dance 3 is likely to make it to 10 million, making it only the 15th game not made by Nintendo to reach that milestone on a single platform? (other non-Nintendo games to make that milestone include three Grand Theft Autos, three Gran Turismos, five Call of Duties, Kinect Adventures, Halo 3, and The Sims for PC)

Assassin's Creed, on the other hand, has only ever sold 5 million copies on one platform once, and that was the original AC on Xbox 360. While it is certainly possible for ACIII to sell more than 5 million on Wii U, I wouldn't count on it, if only because it'll have to share with 360 and PS3 - I can see it managing maybe 4 million, if lucky.

Having said that, I could see Lego City Undercover making 5 million, as it seems to bring together Lego and GTA, to a degree. Dragon Quest X also has a reasonable chance, especially if released in the west (I'm thinking 4.5 million in Japan, another million in the west). And ZombiU, based on what we've seen, has real potential.
