No unified achievement system? O_o

To make it worse they aren't even making it a company wide mandate to include it in Nintendo games either? O_o

Reggie talks as if he knows best which way we want to use a tablet, so now we only get single touch? O_o

Well, that there definitely hurts plans for wide spread support for tablet specific games on the WiiU shop. Better of making them for the Vita or better yet, smartphones...

It's a gamepad with single touch screen, not a tablet. It's been said beforebut i will repeat it, the gamepad has sticks and buttons O_o

What's a Vita? just sayin...

Did we ever heard of price, consumer friendly pricing or failing console-launches with 599$, or 249$ handhelds ?

And a console packed with touchscreen-gamepad should be a powerhouse, multi-touch and for 299$?

It's no rocket sciene, is it?

#1.) Yes, I know what it is, but the point I am making is that if they want serious WiiU shop support for the controller they should have at the least had it able to support what other touch devices were able to support the last 4-5+ years.

#2.) Vita is a Sony handheld with the same setup as the WiiU tablet, only with a back touch rather than the R2 and L2 triggers. It's screen has support for multitouch of (From what I have tested) ~6-8 fingers at a time, although (2) is what is required for the most part. The back touch panel supports the same.

As for the rest of your post, No, nobody said it is rocket science, but if you are going to release a tablet that won't even be able to share content that the smartphones, Vita, tablets all share, what makes you think devs will drop all else and give their focus to the WiiU? Even more so since you are outright admitting that it is a step back in that regard.

You also act like adding a multitouch screen would have added another $50 to the price tag of the console considering the estimated BOM for the Vita was $50 total for (2) touch screens, one of which has no display and the other which is a higher resolution than the one on the WiiU. We all know it is single touch only because they are being cheap. Both of which are also 5", just like the one on the WiiU controller tablet.

No offense to anyone here, but maybe I just have higher standards when I realize we are living in 2012 and not 2004.

Now don't get me wrong, I will be getting a WiiU someday, just not until it gets proper updates. One of which being mandated achievements so that they catch up with the rest of the world.
