It won't be brilliant nor will it fail.
But it would be better if it did one or the either. Nintendo needs to prove itself dramatically and give everyone a big middle finger or they need a complete meltdown which forces them to rethink and retool everything; can't keep skating through the middle on outdated tech and another reskin of Mario.
