Yeah I guess Vanquish is very Japanese. I don't have the competence to judge that properly. I just had the impression it was aimed towards the Western market with that US marine stuff, but I guess that's only a thing on the surface.

I just know it's a super-awesome game, yes, both in its presentation and its gameplay mechanics.
