at least it's PhysX v3 which can take advantage of multiple CPU threads and also takes advantage of the latest X86 extensions so it in theory won't run like utter shit without a Nvidia GPU.
I do agree that someone needs to get a OpenCL accellerated physics engine up and running, unfortunately PhysX's closes competitor Havok is owned by Intel who have a vested interest in keeping physics on the CPU.
