Reach has massive DD numbers thanks to digital bundles like you said. But I believe actively paid digital purchases of full retail games are very small no matter what game it is or weather it's on Games on demand or PSN (likely a few 100Ks max for even the biggest games).
But then you probably mean that if Reach sold a few million through digital bundles, a significant part of those guys would normally have bought the retail copy. I agree.
But I also remember the arguments when Reach came out. "This will be bigger than Halo 3, people see Reach as a main Halo game, this is huge". Therefore i think Reach is a good indication when projecting Halo 4 sales (minus the shorter legs).
