Aside from that concern, I definitely love the sound of this. I would rather pay for the exact storage I wanted rather than have Nintendo sell me a 32gb card for 100 dollars (Hi there, Sony!).

360 has always had a limited version or a higher end for more money. Nintendo is simply saying we won't force you to take our proprietary storage. If you need it, get what best fits your wallet and usage.
