I don't want them to change. They have been raping the competition with quality AAA titles for 2 years by now

Does that make them a huge success? No, it does not.

Sony isn't in a good position and that is because something needs to change.

I don't give a fuck about profits and marketshare, i can't play that. They've managed to keep their fan base much more satisfied despite being in loss and having less marketshare

I am sure everyone at this point understands that SONY fucked up when they added Bluray and drove the cost way up. It really hasn't shown real solid proof that it was needed, especially since the console comes standard with an HDD. If they chose to leave it out the console would have launched no more than $400 and more likely around the $350 mark.

Even so, people say SONY games don't sell well, but that has proven, over the course of over 15 years now, to be a non factor. While their games may sell just 1M, 2M or 3M and companies like Nintendo have franchises that sell 20M, there is a very good reason why their worst selling console, with "horrible" 1st party sales, is going to finish the generation with over 80M consoles sold.

That for the reason you stated, which is that they keep their fanbase satisfied by bringing them a little bit of everything. That is why they continue to do so well despite not having that super duper record shattering blockbusters in their 1st party repetoire.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
