I certainly considered Wonderbook the most interesting part of all three conferences. A highly complex system to build with the prospect of new gaming ideas. It is not my/our problem that you are not clever enough to see what ideas are behind this system and just how complex the system might be to program it and what it could offer in the future. Nintendo was an absolute trainwreck from the first to the last second. Nintendo was completely unable to tell the audience what the Wii U is, what it offers, or who it is made for. I'm sure if they had handed out a questionaire at the end of the show, asking the people "What is asymmetric gaming" they would not have received a single answer. The use of the controler (and the whole conference was about that gadget) was mostly confusing/complicating at best, or complete nonsense (the singing games, the workout games, the dancing games) at worst. MS was basically blood and more blood on more blood and some glass softwarethingie where the presenter almost lost it when he realized how his beloved glassy thing completely nullified the idea of his equally beloved Kinect by requiring a cursor. |
You wave a wand in the air to make bs spells. How is that any better then Batman Armored Edition for Wii U (which looks way cooler IMO) or NintendoLand? Pikmin 3 is the king of motion games this E3, sorry. The only other games that i would even consider to be good motion games are Dance Central 3 and Just Dance 4 on Wii U or 360...
Nintendo was not complicated at all, they just didn't announce a price, release date, or many games for Wii U, and technically it's not done because we still have the 3DS conference. What did Sony do for Vita? Nothing....
blood blood blood for MS? The Last of Us had a 10 year old girl stab a guy in the back, Halo is far less graphic. MS also largely focused on Kinect, the only blood for MS was Acension.
So motion Nintendo and maybe MS are best, handheld Nintendo is best, and for hardcore Sony and MS didn't really announce much new. Gears of War and Beyond, wow big whoop.
They all sucked, simple as that, Sony sucked just as hard as MS and Nintendo.
