You can track down posts in the past of mine, where I end up putting down story-driven games.  I do still feel games are games, but I now see a BIG advantage games played for the story have, thinking on it further.

I find them awesome, because I can go on YouTube, watch the ending, and not have to bother even playing the game.  I get all the draw of them, without actually having to spend money.   It has worked well to save me a bunch of money.  I am a fan of Mass Effect series, and seeing the endings on YouTube saved me the need to spent money, taking out a compulsion to buy.  Same happened with Uncharted 3, and Deus Ex.  Unlike games that end up being games, I don't have to actually play them, to get the effect of playing them.  And that is a big plus for me.  I now can keep up with things for no charge.

If there is need for me to follow any more regarding the story, there are other clips to watch to.  So, I am fortunately that games with stories enable me to do this.  And if I really do end up getting the games, I can wait a long to to get them and actually play them.
