I have no problem personally with the launch line-up, those are never overwhelming. The presentation was bad in my opinion because it gave the impression of a Lack of Vision.
Nintendo didn't show anything being released further down the line, I still don't understand the direction they intend to take with this new console, and I didn't feel like there was any guarantee this generation would be different for them.
So far all I see is an HD Wii with mostly Wii games, and some UE3 ports which as far as I know could stop coming at a moment's notice.
Nintendo has openly admitted that gamers agree to buy a new console only as a sort of compromise in order to get new and better games, yet they showed NOTHING NEW OR BETTER.
Not only is this a bad way to market to the core gamers they are allegedly going after, it's also poor use of the Wii brand-name, seeing as it didn't feel like they were being faithful to their own message to the casual demographic. There was no sense of a lifestyle benefit to having this new machine, it was just more of the same, but in HD (aka "Better").
Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
