These are sell-in numbers and I think VGChartz's original numbers are likely far more accurate (possibly even overtracked for some) than the new ones. Sell-in is what they sell to retailers, sell-through is what a customer buys from a retailer. We've seen plenty of games that had sell-in numbers that were in excess of million+ more than the actual sell-through, sometimes even 2 million+ and upwards.
