The disappointment is wearing off and ZombiU is growing on me. Honestly, Wii U has a terrific launch line-up. It doesn't have a heavy-hitting "core" franchise, but it has a varied assortment of excellent-looking games. Everyone went crazy over the Wii in 2006 for a lot less -- basically Zelda (a port at that), Red Steel, and Wii Sports. Nintendo Land looks way better than Wii Sports, plus Wii U Fit is coming, which takes care of that market. Red Steel is alright, but how does it hold up against Assassin's Creed, Rayman Legends, Scribblenauts, ZombiU, and LEGO City Undercover in the third-party department? That just leaves Zelda -- and I think brand new, not-ported Pikmin and 2D Mario are more than enough compensation.

Again...after getting over my disappointment that we didn't see Retro's next game, F-Zero, Metroid, etc., the only thing that concerns me is that we haven't heard confirmation of Wii U versions of most of the big multiplatform games coming in the next 12 months. Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, Medal of Honor, Need For Speed, Watch Dogs (!), Splinter Cell, Far Cry... all these games coming to PS3 and 360, and not yet confirmed for Wii U. The sort of games the Wii didn't get. I just want to know that Wii U will get all of the big multiplatform games in the next few years.

I'm not worried about Call of Duty or EA Sports because even the Wii got those games. Activision and EA like money too much not to make them available on every possible console.
