I am really surprised Sony didnt have a megaton.

Well they announced Wonderbook, but im not sure its what you guys were looking for.

God of War Acension, The Last Of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale....take your pick.

Wonderbook....how is that considered Megaton? Its utter garbage.

Those aren't megatons though.  They showed a new IP which was great for them, but everybody was expecting everything you mentioned with the exception of Beyond two souls

So a Megaton in the definition of the OP is a game that would be mega popular and that wasnt announced? ok nvm.

dont get me wrong, they are huge games for the Playstation brand, but without the surprise factor it leave's one feeling disappointed.  If noone knew that God of War was coming then they showed off the demo that they did people would be talking about how awesome Sony's conference was.

A megaton fits into the category of unexpected, unannounced, and is a game changer.  Nothing seen at E3 really fit that.  Game that got the most attention is likely Watch Dogs, which is likely not an exclusive.  It does push the envelop.  Any other game announcements were things  that make you happy to own a console of choice.

I am perplexed why anyone would consider Sony's answer to Super Smash Bros. to be a Megaton.
