"I blame Microsoft for making Halo 4 the next Metroid Prime we've been asking for."
Its got the looks and the exploration, but I doubt that Halo 4 will use the kind of level design structure that makes Metroid Prime so excellent (and very replayable in my opinion).
On topic: Nintendo has failed before. So unless they start closing developers and cancelling games, I'm not worried.
