I mostly agree, but depending on level of backward compatibility, they could come out more then a year apart. Failure to provide compatibility will drop brand loyalty fast (Sega's big problem, Nintendo's gamecube problem, etc...). Either way, I doubt much more than minor revisions to either platform for several years...
