E3 basically confirms that Xbox 3 will launch in 2013

The reason are not the games showed, but the games not showed.

Here are the resources MS puts in the Xbox 3:

• There was no game by one of the newly founded studios (MS Victoria, MS Vancouver, MS Soho etc)
• Crytek's RYSE was a no-show and there was a rumour about it to be a Xbox 3 launch title
• No Rare game and they have been hiring a lot these days
• No second Lionhead game and they have been hiring as well
• No Epic Games game (this just sounds stupid)
• No Turn10 game

So my guess is that Rare, Lionhead, Epic Games, Turn10 and all the new studios are already working on XBOX 3 titles.

Have you even watched the same conference? Forza, Fable, Gears and Halo both got new games coming on 360. Wich new studios are you talking about? Yes MS has acquired many new studios, but we know most of them work on Kinect games.

 

Sony and MS both will have some conference early 2013 revealing their next consoles.

Forza is developed by playground games (former codemaster and bizarre creations staff)
Fable is developed by one half of the lionhead staff
Gears is developed by PCF, not epic themselves
Halo is a 2012 title so they can release the next Halo when the Xbox 3 is 2 years on the market. Just like they did with the 360 and Halo 3.

New studios:

• MS Soho
• MS Vancouer
• MS Victoria
• MS Family
• MS Leap
• (BigPark)
• (Good Science Studios)

And we don't know what they are working on at all. Look at MS Vancouer. Does their homepage look like casual title?
