This really did look amazing. It just felt so visceral and real, especially when you have the little girl having to help out at set points. It manages to combine a lot of little things in the animation, the dialogue, the sound effects and the physics to make a gritty and harsh gameplay experience. This and Watch Dogs are definitely my games of E3 so far.
