But lets be honest the conference was underwhelming for the lack of surprises, apart form the horrendous Wonderbook shit, it was all great, and Last of Us just took demo of the show.

Show an HD Metroid and F Zero though and Nintendo have pretty much nailed it.

Only really good E3s this late in the gen involve new hardware. Especially when everything is leaked to bloodthirsty gamers beforehand.

True that, although replacing Wonderbook with P4G, Ni No Kuni, Soundshapes, LBP Karting etc could've ensured a solid show throughout.

Such a bad decision to demo that. Just put out a 1 minute trailer and namedrop J.K. Rowling and you're done.
