I agree 100%. I think Wii play has a right to be counted more than Wii Sports at least. You pay 10$ for Wii play. However I dont feel it should be counted here because budget games are not counted. I also am kinda angry that the 4x4 ATV game for the PSP is not counted in sales. if 5% of the PSP's bought were the 1gb memory stick/game version, it would be on the top 200 games list. It's not. First, I know for a fact that more than 5% of PSP's sold are the bundled version.

It's not that I discredit Wii sports in japan/europe, and If you want to be technical, the number of Wii Sports bundled should be counted in worldwide, but not in NA.

Wii play shouldnt be counted because it's barely a game. Most demo's have more content.

should super mario bros have been counted? 

this site is about tracking video game sales, not about providing definitive "x console is winning" answers. You deal with those numbers how you want.

Personally, I think completely discarding Wii sports numbers when you talk about tie ratios is unfair, since you can guaruntee that Wii sports is being played and may take time away from other games. Just like it would have been unfair to discard Super Mario Bros for the original NES.
