You can't deny that Vita is unexpectedly high in USA when compared to other regions, and taking into account how low the PSP sales are there. 

If we entertain your line of thinking, then surely Europe would be much more in love with the PSV than America and thus more important to point out in a one-liner post.

Aha, but you see- PSP is selling well in Europe. Vita is selling more under what we'd expect in europe, whereas it's selling surprisingly well in USA
