Which series do you prefer? Zelda or Mario?

I enjoy the Mario series a little more since I don't often have the time to invest in the longer Zelda games. I've been able to beat all the Mario games I've picked up. I've stopped midway through a couple of Zelda titles and never beat them because after some time away from the game I had forgotten what I've done and what I needed to do to advance in the game.
