He owns a business which designs, manufactures, tests circuit boards. - I will be taking a year out of my University study to spend a year working in the "industry". Although not confirmed, atm, it looks like I'll hopefully spend the year working for HSBC in Hong Kong. This essentially means that when I graduate, not only will I have one of the most valuable degrees out there (seriously, compared to most degrees, Computer Science is a GOLD MINE), but I'll also have a years worth of experience. Should give me an edge in going for graduate jobs. And that about sums up my work/education life, so far. Seeing as I'm currently 20... I feel I've had a good run. |
Thanks for the detailed response. It's posts like this that I'm really looking for. Also, do you continue to study on your own time or something? I'd imagine it'll be difficult to remember everything after a year off.
