3D increases imersion and looks good. It adds to the experience, but it doesnt need to become the central point of the experience.
And if someone gets sick using, its is because they dont know how to adjust it.

It's pretty (to some, not many.)  it doesn't have any practical uses, yet.  Therefore it cannot be compared to motion controls in terms of USEFULNESS.  if you want to argue semantics, go right ahead, but in this case you'd be wrong.
