And Atheists, e.g. Hitler. Not all hate of homosexuals is from religious people. 

If you want to bring up brutal mass murdering atheists go for Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. Hitler probably wasn't an atheist - his religious beliefs were ill defined at best.

 

In any case, religion is often used as a justification for extremism. Atheism is almost never used as a justification for extremism. I don't know of anybody who has ever killed in the name of there not being a god.
