They will if they want to play it on the road and if it's not available on consoles, like Golden Abyss and Bioshock Vita. And who says it has to have less content? LBPV is going to have more features than it's console counterparts. People clearly want Uncharted on PSV, it's sold 600k on a system that's only sold 2 million, Uncharted is probably near on around 800k if you count digital sales |
MLB 12 The Show has less content, with that only being less replays, that way the game moves at a faster pace to keep it a bit more "bite sized".
Mortal Kombat has more content than any of the console versions thanks to an enlarged Challenge Tower.
LBPVita has more features and content than any console LBP.
His Uncharted example I think had something to do with detail in the graphics... although I don't know what that has to do with gaming "content" because the single player portion is just as large as any console Uncharted.
SFxTekken will have MORE than it's console equivalents.
Disgaea 3 has more content than it's console equivalent.
Resistance has a full scale single player and online multiplayer with various game modes.
Gravity Rush is a full sized sandbox title with DLC just like any console title.
Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is the same as it's console equivalent.
Rayman lacks co-op, but makes up for it with exclusive gameplay options. Still wonder why they axed co-op since the Vita can easily handle it as shown with various other titles. Oh well, Rayman Legends will show us soon.
Super Stardust contains more than it's console equivalent.
BlazBlue is virtually identical to it's console equivalent.
Plants Vs. Zombies contains more than it's console equivalent.
Ninja Gaiden is the same game as it's console equivalent only with newly added controls schemes.
These are launch-Launch window titles too. Only think of what comes next.
Claiming that Vita games have less content is just plain wrong and only shows the OP lacks the proper information required to begin that discussion.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
