General - sega Vs. capcom? - View Post

Image could be fake, but, I wanted to ask about it anyway.  If it is real, the lifebars have got to be changed (I don't see those being in the final game).  But, also, Pretty sure the HUD image of Gief is from Super Street Fighter IV.  Has anyone heard anything?

Anyway, does anyone have any information on this, maybe?  What I don't understand is, for a game that looks so poor, why would there be a logo stamped on the bottom?...  I don't get it.

It would probably be nice, but, I'd rather AM2 made the game, and put some Streets of Rage, Virtua Fighter, and other characters in.  Sure, I like sonic, but, in a fighter, he would honestly degrade the quality.

So, if it's real, what system do you see it coming to?  And, before anyone brings up SFxT, and DLC, go dereail some other person's thread.

The content was faster to produce alongside the actual game, instead of having the team come back later to create the characters.  Having them included on the disc made it easier for people to stay linked up, rather or not you own the content, and saved money for server space.

If they waited, the characters would come out much later than october, be more expensive over-all, and be avaliable to a lower range of people... The older the game gets, the fewer people are playing it...

So, you can best believe that DLC characters will never be on a disc again from capcom, and you can also expect them to always be more than 20 dollars for the full set.  Lose-lose situation, and, under 2 GB, because don't forget about Xbox live's marketplace limit, and PSN has to match or microsoft gets really upset..  Microsoft is making everyone pay more for Virtua Fighter 5 DLC..

I've already said I wouldn't buy another Capcom game unless Ruby Heart was in it...  We'll see what happens.  Seeing as how Sega, Namco, and Capcom have teamed up, and capcom and namco already have fighters, perhaps sega and capcom are making one too..  Perhaps even sega and namco are doing another... then, finally, a 3 way cross-over fighter between sega, namco, and capcom.
