Yup big disappointment, it just feels like a money grab attempt.

Did they ever promise it was going to be Diablo II + better graphics + mild interface updates?

What are you disappointed in?

To me the whole game seems to be focused of forcing you to use the AH to get gear and once the real money AH starts up=all the decent gear will be sold for money.
