Nintendo's hardcore audience picked one up early, and they're gone now. The general hardcore gamer tried it (maybe) and left it long ago. It's the parents looking for a cheap gaming toy for their kids that are buying the Wii. These are the casuals that will be dancing to the next rhythm-based game coming out. Same goes for Kinect, only casuals are left playing that thing. |
its not so much they moved on, they are just playing the other systems a hell of alot more. Why wouldnt they? Its not even about the 1st party, its the 3rd. I imagine that most people's library is filled with mostly 3rd party games because thats what mostly available, when you have a system that is not even getting the good ones and when they do it is far below that of the competition, you would be crazy not to get an HD or PC
