As for the washer I would have ripped that shit away from the wall and unplugged it. Of course he was an idiot for putting his kid in their, so he never would have figured that out.

yeah there is always the first time you will see/do something but that doesn't mean that there weren't stabbed people 200 years ago. ok they were hit with an axe then^^

but to be serious now, saw a report on tv a year or so ago where they were talking exactly about that. here in germany people say "omg it's getting worse from year to year" as well but they said that it's only because of the media. at least here in germany people think as example that violence on schools is growing but they said it was worse in 199x than it is nowadays but there wasn't youtube and so on.

same with other kinds of violence, numbers were declining the last 20 years or so but we all think it's worse than ever.

and i believe i usa there are less murderer and other criminals as well than the last decades.
