I live far away from just about all of my friends, so gaming is normally something that brings us together. But the 3DS isn't appealing to me, even though I used to own an original DS (the fat gray one) until a couple years ago. It's easier for me to use a PS3 to connect with certain friends, or a X360 for others. I'm hoping that the Wii U will fill in that gap, but I have no idea if my friends or I will be getting that one. We'll see how well Nintendo handles online this time around. I felt burned by the original Wii, as there was virtually no online to bring my friends and I together.
