If launched in November 4-6 million units. My bet is Nintendo won't have the shortages they did with Wii. Nintendo had trouble stocking the Wii they hadn't been ready for the high demand. My bet is that Nintendo sells 2-million units within the first month and an additional 2 million by Jan 1.
If we are talking fiscal 2013 this year. My bet is 12-14 million units. Assuming the console is 350$ or lower at retail. Nintendo will need at least one casual title at launch. I know they will have an overwhelmingly core focus but a few casual games are needed to have the success they had with Wii.
After Nintendo rescued 3DS I don't think WiiU will do substantially worse then Wii!
