I'm gonna' agree with you and say below 1m, I honestly can't see it doing that well, since most people who have seen/heard about the game have had negative reactions, mainly along the lines of "lol it's a copy of SSB but worse! /sonyfail", which is very unfortunate...

I WOULD like to see it do big numbers, or atleast over 2m lifetime... if it could do over 1m over the Christmas holidays, then I'd have no doubt whatsoever that it'd go on to sell over 2m, especially if it were bundled, we could see Uncharted numbers. But as I've said, I really don't see it selling well otherwise.

However, if it DOES sell well, I can see Sony buying Superbot, since it'd be cool to have a new game like this for every console generation and handheld they release (Heck, I'd love to play something like this on my Xperia Play!), but that'd just get more backlash from gamers for copying SSB even further... (Despite SSB being a copy itself...)

Yes, take internet fanboy reactions as an indicator of the sales of a videogame, good idea.

Maybe I should have added a "so far" in there, lol. People may change their minds after seeing more of the game, and ofcourse I'll admit that I didn't take into account that Sony may actually market this (Let's face it, Sony are TERRIBLE when it comes to marketing to the masses) through tele adverts and such... I'm just going off what I know, and so far there's been a lot of negativity around it which could definity reflect on sales, there's no telling though, is there

This particular game draws more ire than usual because it resembles a game Nintendo makes, and so certain groups (mostly Nintendo fanboys and Sony haters) see it as an oppurtunity to perpetuate their childish idea of Sony always copying Nintendo. These people would never have bought the game anyway, so taking their reaction to the game as any indicator of sales is nonsensical.

You know I'm right , I just make too much damn sense

When you put it like that, it does start to make sense, the people hating on the game wouldn't have bought it in the first place, which means when predicting sales, I shouldn't have taken them into account... although I still don't think it'll sell too great unless Sony advertise it a lot. I'll wait until closer to release before I decide to adjust my prediction or not, I mean, with the right character announcements, the sales could explode... but until then I'll sit here patiently twiddling my thumbs, lol.

Spot on! It seems that the potential sales for this title could fluctuate massively depending on the character announcements, gameplay quality and how advertising is handled.
