Mexico is not part of north america though..

I think its OTHERS as well.

Why do so many people from the US not know geography? In truth all of what is called central America is classed as North America... that's everything North of Panama. There are 15 countries in North America, 10 on the mainland and 5 in the Carribean. There may actually be more as I am not sure whether the islands East of Puerto Rico are classed as N.A or S.A

I had no clue, I thought north america was canada an the United states alone, I also thought mexico was part of central america, but now it seems all of central america is north america, very interesting.. they why do they call it central america? If its part of North america?

no offense, but is shit like this that keep giving the US culture a bad rap. Pretty much the only people I've seen categorizing the other countries as central america are americans (US), and maybe canadians, I have never seen a person where I live call it central america. Imo, it could feel as if those countries are being discriminated because they're not 'good enough' from the americans' eyes.
