baseless?  Possibly, although its pretty clear that xbox has a grip of the US home market.

But I stand by it, even have a wager with anyone that wants to take it... hard cash though, no childish forum sig bollocks.

No it is baseless, simple as. The playstation 2 also had a grip on the US home market and we saw how that ended up. Gamers are a fickle bunch with no loyalty. It is impossible to tell what will happen next gen. 

Fair play if you are right though.

This holds true for Americans as well. They can flip flop between whatever company is "hotter" in the media at the time. At this point (and they even spoke about it on Bonus Round) we kinda already know what the gamers console is right about now. It's kind of set in stone, that Nintendo has given up on the Wii and is trying to jump the gun on Wii U sales (which I think will be slower than normal), Microsoft is copying Sony's ten year plan, but releasing is causing a first party drought and increasing entertainment options for casuals, and Sony is still continuing to get stronger with exclusives even after five years of solid exclusives year after year out of the seven they've been out. At this point whether you hate them or not the gamers console is the PS3.
