You could easily put that in a table if you wanted.  That not the point though, you keep having people messing up on their numbers.  This simply layout just makes it easier.   You can also see where the movies are currently ranking.  Just my opinion though.  It's not so bad now with all the black bars gone

True, I guess either way really is fine so long as it keep removing the movies that have been voted out.
