I really don't understand why so many rallied around TDK anyways.
Up is a far superior movie in every way.
TDK was a solid movie with great, dark story.
Up was immensely funny and completely pulled you into the story emotionally. Up created a far superior love story in 8mins than Twilight did in its entire saga. Grown men and women cried in Up due to character attachment and deep true love and loss. Watching Up really forced you to interact with the movie's characters.
TDK had Joker. Had his performance been anything but superstar level combined with his real life death, the movie wouldn't be remembered.
