This sounds excellent. Current, I own a SONY KDS55A3000 SXRD for over four years now. It was the best projection TV you could have bought at the time, other LCD's and plasmas with comparable specs were twice the price, and the SONY SXRD rival a lot of the higher end LCD's and plasmas. Its color saturation is almost dead on prefect, and its contract ratio was great for its technology and at its time. Also, Panasonic makes the best plasma since they bought out Pioneer's plasma tech in early 2008. As of recent, I've been recommending friends and families to buy a Panasonic plasma over LCD/LED's for its superior motion flow and contrast ratio. And now to hear both SONY and Panasonic partnering to make OLED televisions is something to look out for. I foresee buying a new house in less than two year's time, and I hope to have a dedicated gaming/family room. By then, I'll be looking to upgrade my television. We'll see what happens then, and there is a lot of potential here. Good news on the video front.
