A 500w PSU should do your system nicely, or you could go with a 650w for future proofing. Make sure the PSU is from a trusted brand, there are many PSU's which are extremely cheap but aren't very efficient, could easily break and could damage your other components with power surges. You should be aiming to spend at least £50 for a decent PSU.
Just found this one, Corsair are one of the most trusted brands, you could probably upgrade your rig in the future and keep this PSU and this is an absolute bargain.

If you're playing at 1080p then you want a mid-range GPU, especially for your needs as you won't be playing Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3, mid-range GPU's offer great performance for the money, before prices start becoming a little bit rediculous.
I probably said this in an earlier post, but the ATI 6770 / Nvidia 550ti will be perfect for your needs and will be able to play future starcraft games (if there are any).

Hard drives are expensive at the moment, I heard it was because of floods in Taiwan, but hard drive prices tripled last year and they've only come down a little bit. You should probably get an SSD to install your OS on and you should salvage any hard drive you can find to store anything else on. In a year or so when the prices come down, get yourself a decent 1TB drive.
It doesn't matter what disc drive you buy, they're fairly cheap, just make sure you get one from a reliable brand.
