What the hell? That is a misconception. Sony doesn't get its LCD panels from Samsung. They set up a company called S-LCD wich delivers both Sony's and Samsungs LCD panels. Sony's TVs are also driven by their Bravia engine.

Yes, but even years before the acquisition people claimed Sony panels were made by Samsung.
