Not sure why you would think that.

Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 is on track for a January release for the PS3. Expect more news about that during Sonys E3 pressor.

As for Versus, that may turn into XV. As usual we'll have to wait and see, but they aren't going to vaporware that title with all the anticipation they have behind it.


Checked the XIV roadmap again, confused the september~november beta releases with actual release ^^. I figured as well that there would be no vs13 this year due to no announcement of it in their fiscal announcement as posted above. And, I doubt it will be turned into XV, although it may extremely benefit unaware possible FF fans who would become hype for a new installment to the franchise, rather rehashed numbers..then again, IMO 'versus 13' is a stupid name for the western audience, and would push an idea of a multiplayer FF. 



All of this, of course, is just my opinion.
