so April:

NPD:

360 236k
PS3 175k
Wii 91k

VGC pre slight adjustments:

360 290k 22% over (54k)
PS3 223k 27% over (48k)
Wii 130k 43% over (39k)

So yet another month where the 360 has been overtracked more than the ps3, thanks for pointing that out. :)

That makes it nine months in a row now this has happened in america.

woop de doo

O wow, really?

So long as adjustments are made why does it matter?

The point being that when one console is consistently overtracked compared to another 1) There is obviously a problem with the data/formulas used to work out the sales in the first place and 2) Having a group of posters on this site constantly post pro MS stuff, cherry picking data, trying to make it seem as if the 360 is hard done by compared to the ps3 when in reality it is the other way round is not okay.

I agree. It has caught my attention that 360 is overtracked way more then PS3, PS3 is undertracked or slightly overtracked most of the time. Last december we saw a major gigantic +-1.5million adjustment for the 360.

but adjustments are made?

so i ask again, why does it matter?

are you saying the numbers are off?

becasue right now all evidence points to the PS3 being the overtracked console on here.

what adjustments dfo you want to see to make it all ok in your very balanced and fair eyes?

What are you trying to say? I merely state that 360 is more and bigger overtracked then PS3, are you challenging this fact? Ive never seen the PS3 being overtracked with over a million for 1 month. Ofcourse adjustments are made, thats how the numbers stay in line. For the most part from october to december numbers are way off from official sources like NPD.

Im not saying anythiong... what are YOU trying to say?

you havent been here long and it shows.

it has been the PS3 overtracked before or the Wii or the 360... it changes.. who cares as long as we eventually get to roughly the right end result.

So whats your problem when I point out a simple fact? I didnt even start about adjustments, just how 360 is overtracked more often.

PS3 was overtracked? Probably in 2007 or so when it was in its launch years. Ive been lurking the site since 2009 and never have I seen PS3 being overtracked by a million and the rest undertracked. Ive been seeing this for 2 holidays seasons now that 360 is greatly overtracked during those times.
