No, Nintendo will not fall, well, not now.
Right now their doing a good job with the 3DS, because they want to keep a big marketshare, and probably this strategy will be successful in the long run.
Yes, the 3DS has a little list of system sellers, but Mario, Zelda and Monster Hunter are not "usual" system sellers, and we must remember that this is just the first year.
On the Wii side, Nintendo is not interested in it any more, they want to push the WiiU and it's also for this reason that there are very few new games for it.
