Uh, apart from Just Dance 3, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Sports, Just Dance 2, Zumba Fitness, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wii Fit Plus, all of which outsold Skyward Sword. Wii had 10 games in the top 30.

That completely explains where new first-party experiences like Xenoblade and Kid Icarus come from, plus Nintendo's efforts on the eShop including Pushmo, Sakura Samurai, and Dillon's Rolling Western. And as for third-party games, try making that argument again in a couple of months, after Kingdom Hearts, Rhythm Thief, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Heroes of Ruin, Theatrhythm, Epic Mickey 2, and LEGO Batman 2 are out, plus the plethora of new eShop titles we'll get in that time.
