Microsoft has created a great, viable platform for the digital distribution of quality games, and the success in shown in the fact the Minecraft 360 was profitable within one hour of release! I wonder how this is doing in comparison to Nintendo and Sony's online marketplaces?

Microsoft loves buying up timed-exclusive releases. So if Minecraft would have been more successful on PSN, we'll never know.

Even if it releases sometime next year on PSN, most the core gamer community already bought in XBL....

No for me. Its my first buy for my Xbox online. And so does 10 others of my friends.
